Tread brake units are critical components in the braking systems of rail vehicles, including trains, trams, and metros. It applies friction directly to the wheel tread to slow down or stop the vehicle.

BASIC PARAMETER
The DZD series is used for tread braking and includes two models.
The DZD-1 type is commonly used as service brake, while the DZD-2 type adds a spring parking brake device on the basis of the DZD-1 type.
This series of tread brake unit has the characteristics of small size, light weight, high transmission efficiency, and easy disassembly & assembly. It can quickly compensate for the wear of brake blocks and wheels, and maintain a constant brake shoe clearance.
